Wheelchair tennis gives people living with physical mobility related disability improved physical, social, and psychological well-being which then translates to a higher quality of life. Tennis also integrates well with people standing UP to play tennis with wheelchair players sitting DOWN providing disability awareness to our community about the value of people living with disability have in society.

TIES is a USTA community tennis organization and receives grants from the Northern California Section that it uses to help put on wheelchair tennis events throughout the year as well as assist local players learn about sport equipment requirements & maintenance and also supports local players compete at USTA sanctioned wheelchair tennis tournaments.
